BetterActs Collective was founded by three active volunteers and not-for-profit operators. We're not observers. We built this from inside the sector.
Co-Founder and Director
Born in Sichuan, China, Feifei moved to Melbourne alone at 16 as an international student. She is the founder of social enterprise Feifei Curiosity and the not-for-profit Our Point 3, which supports LGBTQIA+ international students, alumni, and allies. Through initiatives like the Voices of Us podcast and the Beyond Identity creative program series, Feifei has spent over a decade connecting communities through creativity, storytelling, and advocacy. She brings deep experience in community building, facilitation, and sector partnerships across local councils, education providers, and state government.

Originally from Mauritius, Juliet is based in Sydney and works as Design Lead at The Aquarium Professional Services. Her volunteering roots go back to the Girl Guides in Mauritius, and she continued that commitment in Australia with organisations including VicWise (now Auswise), Story Is Connection, and Our Point 3, where she was part of the team that launched the Voices of Us podcast. She also mentors design students at RMIT. At BetterActs Collective, Juliet leads design and digital experience.

Co-Founder and Director
Ahmedabad-born and Sydney-based, Ujas holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Melbourne and an MBA from UNSW's AGSM. His background spans health-tech, software development, and data. Co-founding his university's Bollywood Club, and experiencing firsthand the chaos of ad hoc volunteer coordination, set the direction for BetterActs. He has volunteered with the City of Melbourne, Beyond Blue, and the award-winning Act of Translation.
